What occurs during a Team Plan Free Trial?

  • Individuals who sign up for the Team Plan are granted a 14-day trial period at no cost.
  • Throughout the trial, Document GPS Admins have the freedom to add and manage team members without being charged any subscription fees.
  • Payment for the monthly subscription only commences if users choose to continue utilizing the platform after the trial period.
  • When the Free Trial concludes, admins are required to provide a payment method to sustain access; otherwise, their account will be temporarily deactivated until payment is processed.
  • Admins have the option to conclude the Free Trial prematurely by supplying a payment method.
  • During the Team Plan Free Trial period, administrators have the flexibility to easily add, activate, or deactivate users as needed.
  • Team Plan Admins can add new org users without any warning messages or pop-ups if the total active users are 50 or fewer, and seat recalculation does not occur during the trial.
  • However, if the total number of active org users reaches 50, certain restrictions and limitations will come into effect.

Ending Free Trial

  • As the Free Trial period comes to a close, admins will receive a notification email from Stripe. This email will detail that their subscription cost will be charged on the end date of the Free Trial, based on the number of active org users visible in their account menu.
  • Admins will also be reminded that they have the option to deactivate or remove unused org users to adjust their subscription costs accordingly. If users do not opt to cancel the subscription, their payment method will automatically be charged once the Free Trial ends.
  • The subscription cost is dependent on the number of active org users and the selected payment option (annual or monthly). Upon upgrading to a paid plan, notifications regarding the Free Trial expiration will cease, and the status in the top-right menu will indicate that it is now a paid plan.
